I jokingly say to brides, after I've boldly expressed an opinion, that it's not about me.  And it surely is not.  I believe that there are two situations in women's lives when the focus should be 200% unequivocally on them.  Those are..... her wedding, and during childbirth.  Now having said that I am about to launch into details about me , my business, and my associates.  Double speak?  Not at all.  I do this because it has to do with our philosophy.  It's about how we treat our customers, and what we strive to provide.

So, here's a little about me.

This is not my first job, but is my first love.  When I was 5 or so, I would regularly go into Mrs. Bradley's yard (our neighbor next door), pick her flowers, and take them to her in a sweet little bouquet.  It never occurred to me that she might not want them picked.  This was indeed, the handwriting.  From gardening with my Grandmother, to later doing flower arranging and design for family and friends, I've always had this passion.  My career for many years though, has been first, in Ladies Fashion and Apparel on both the buying and selling sides. Later, I became involved in Interior Design, Manufacturing, Design, and Selling.  Slowly at first, I started to do more floral work.  I took classes, and watched more YouTube demos than I can count. Finally, my daughter, Amanda, gave me my first big break.  Having agreed to let me have a "go" at doing the flowers for her wedding, we brought in thousands of stems of flowers and greenery, and I had the time of my life!  I have waited my entire life to have this job. 

What does this mean for you?

It means that I want to talk about your wedding as much as you do.  I will give you as many fresh ideas as I can so that it can be uniquely you.  It means that there is no wedding too large or too small that I won't love to do.  Because creating your floral vision does not feel like work for me, it's easier to give you great value. 

Ok, full disclosure.  It is a LOT to handle.  So while it's not work, it can be really hard play!

Lastly, why the name Floral Support? 

We were doing a wedding in College Station, Texas, and had several lovely Aggies coming and going between classes to help us.  One of the workers referred to themselves as "Floral Support", and it stuck. 

The name says what we want it to say.  We want to be your greatest help.  Talk to us, get ideas, use the ideas or 

our services in whatever way that works for you.  We can help you through a DIY wedding with suggestions and resources, or we will do everything, so that all you have to do is hold the bouquet!  

It is truly our pleasure to be there on such a momentous occasion!
